Phone of the Dead
"When there's no signal in Hell, the Dead will walk the Earth"
A series of four sculptures inspired by society's obsession with our phones. Even death won't get in the way of checking Instagram. Maybe Amazon is the digital equivalent of Dawn of the Dead's shopping mall, drawing the undead back to stumble around its pages. "Some kind of instinct. Memory, of what they used to do. This was an important place in their lives."
These zombies are a hybrid, combining the look of the classic Romero/Savini films and the more recent Walking Dead walkers.
The collection was made specially for my 'One Thing After Another' solo show at Clutter Gallery NY.
