FeeJee Mermaid Enigmini

PT Barnum's FeeJee Mermaid may have looked suspiciously like a mummified monkey torso sewn on to part of a large fish but her siren song drew countless visitors. The less than fair maid also inspired untold similar attractions at shows and carnivals. Sadly the original has long since vanished so it is now impossible to prove her authenticity one way or the other.

This FeeJee Mermaid art figure is 40mm tall and is presented as one of a series of blind-packed resin art pieces. Each Enigmini design is traditionally sculpted in clay and hand cast in resin. They are individually finished and inked in one of several colourways (not all shown here). Enigminis are supplied blind-boxed at random in bespoke recycled card packaging, closed with a wax seal.
